For newborns - Do I need to provide props or wraps?
NOPE! I provide props, backdrops, and wraps. For this reason and length of session is mainly why newborn sessions are a little more costly than a regular session.
If there is something you'd like to include, please let me know so I can plan accordingly.
Is there anything I can do to prep baby for their newborn session?
I'm glad you asked! YES!
I have a newborn prep I send you that will help ensure you get the most out of your session. Every client that has followed the newborn prep has gotten absolutely beautiful photos!
Where are you based and do you travel?
My studio location is located right in the heart of the Town of Fincastle.
I do travel! Travel fees are $3.00/mile after 25 miles from my studio
When will we get our photos?
Turn around:
Newborn ≈ 2-3 weeks
In The Moment ≈ 1-2 weeks
Specialty ≈ 2-3 weeks
When is the best time to photograph a newborn?
Within the first two weeks! They are still very flexible and sleepy at this stage of being earthside. This makes them much easier to work with.
I have however photographed newborns as old as 2 months. Just understand that nothing is guaranteed, especially passed the 2 week mark.
Is my session refundable?
Yes and No.
You may cancel and receive a refund as long as you cancel 1 week before your session is scheduled In the months from January-September. From September-December I require payments 2 weeks ahead of time.
If you try to cancel within 6 days or less until your session, it is non-refundable and only transferable.
Please understand that it is hard to fill your session time if I have less than a week to fill it. If I let people cancel whenever, other people would lose the opportunity to book.
Retainers are non-refundable/non-transferable.
How do we receive our photos?
You will receive your photos via a digital online gallery that is sent to your email.
You will first be sent a proof gallery that allows you to choose your photos.
Once you "favorite" your photos, you are then sent a final gallery with all the photos you favorited.
Can I pay on my invoice as I go?
You absolutely can! My invoicing platform allows you to pay as you go, or pay in full. You may also use credit & debit cards! All invoices must be paid before your newborn session takes place.
Can I do outfit changes?
Yes! Usually two outfits is the most you'll probably want to do so you don't feel rushed.
